carrying on with the topic, what are the thoughts on the kartboy shifter and bushings, i kinda like the idea of his a bit better, being that they shouldnt get stuck, and they will still give a little bit.

Kartboy's poly bushings will be better than stock, but won't be as stiff as a metal bushing.

I got the bushings put in on saturday and they feel pretty good. I still haven't had a lot of time to review them, even with the 24 hr autocross this weekend (not much shifting there) but I got quite a few pics of the install and will do a DIY in a few days.

I would say with the brass underhood and aluminum under shifter there is absolutely no play in the shifter. You can definitely feel the car more. Pretty cool.

That's why I decided to go with the metal. No point in going aftermarket (at least for me) if you don't go all the way!

The Kartboy ones are a much better choice. You have to have some give in your shifting otherwise your syncros will regret it. Plus the poly bushings will never lock up.

lancershop.com sells them. The brand for the brass underhood and alum. under shifter is speed source. Kartboy is the poly ones.[/QUOTE]
