no u misunderstood me. ofcourse they gain torque since the cam angles are getting more aggressive.... what i mean is the change-over isnt smooth so u get a more sudden burst of torque compared to mivec should is a more smoother torque gain.

i was alil surprised myself but i read this from a couple different honda tuner mags. i read just simply by smoothing the vtec changeover, u can squeeze out some more torque in the mid-range in most hondas (but ofcourse u'll feel the vtec much less)

The only thing I hear when the RPM's are >= 3500 is the missus screaming at me to slow down. heh.

lol you cannot escape.

Bad thing about yellow cars is, theres not many and if you do something wrong, you'll be found out..

Imagine this: cop: yeah I believe its a yellow RA 05..
cop2: theres not many... let him go, I'll visit him at his home

lol.

If you got header or downpipe, an exhaust system and intake, you can hear that sonovavveaccht when it gets on the cam. At least when it first gets on it. Mivec kinda hangs for a little while unlike vtec or vvtli which always disengage at the same RPM, in Mivec RPMs have to go lower for it to disengage.

With the Flywheel it really sounds devilishly when it gets on the cam. Cant wait to get a high lift cam just to hear that baby go into Mivec

Yep the next mod is definitely a camshaft!

hey lanzzeralliart, your 85 shot of nos, how much whp are you getting? Is it hard to install a nos kit to the car? is it install friendly or nowhere near?
