Can you hear the Mivec Switchover?

I was wondering if any of you actually hear the mivec switch-over at 3500rpm.

Is yours non-existent, suttle or obvious?

I was watching a clip on youtube and actually heard this guys ralliart mivec-switchover, was quite astonished to actually hear it as many of the ralliarts I don't hear it.

I don't hear anything unless I am driving around a parking lot with the windows down. You can actually hear the valve lift change. My car has a pretty smooth powerband now, but it still picks up a little at around 4000 RPM or so.

When I had my CAI on I could here it. Traveling on the highway you could also hear a slight whistle in the intake when you went above 3500RPM

If you see a evo 8 on a dyno you will see straight exhaust flow come out the exhaust, Then when you see a evo 9 on a dyno you see a straight flow of exhaust come out of the exhaust, then when it uses the mivec you see a poof of smoke come out of the exhaust stronger than the exhaust flow of the exhaust.

Isn't this the same crowd that gets upset when EVO owners rag on our cars? Seriously - show a little respect.

EDIT - Thanks, mod.

if he was i dont take it offensively, i jst think thats pretty awesome.

When i fisrt got my car i didnt notice anything
but after i knew where mivec hits and listening carefully i can actually hear it. my intake sounds very nice with it too!! like turbo swooling
i wish it was as loud as vtec tho that would be nice.

This wasn't what I was talking about. The posts I was referring to have already been removed.
