Some cars we get are PRE-PRoduction or cars without duties paid. THose cars must be crushed or sent back to country of origin. They cannot be sold. Eclipses are made in the US so they can be sold for example. But EVOs and Lancers come from Japan.

Get in line. 
There are loopholes where some of them can be parted out, but not sure how legal that is, and you'll never see parts for sale online due to that. The loophole is in regards to the definition of "crushed" or just how crushed the car has to be in order to be considered crushed.

If that is the case, it would be pretty expensive to keep them here, or even export them back to Japan or the origin country.
Blame U.S. Customs rules for the requirement to destroy these pre-production cars or export them back to the origin country. They give you an option to keep them here....but it is $$$$$$$$$$$.

these cars have no VIN#, right?
or im wrong??, I Read something like that
they make this cars, and give it away to magazines and companies to promote their cars, but cars actually doesnt worth anything because its not a legal car, cause of having no VIN# an some things like that, jejeje
anyway I really love to have one of this cars, even if I have to give it back of crushed it after some time, jejeje
