Tire PSI

Tire PSI
Just looking to see what everyone runs their tires on? I usually run them on the recommended psi that is on the tire or more but i got an oil change and they said my tires were low and so they put i don't even know how much into them and i should have asked because it feels like a whole different car the ride is great. so what is the "best" psi for tires for regular road use?

When tire pressure is quoted it is always specified at room temperature (cold) when you are running track (such as Auto-X) over-inflated tires will provide you with a harder sidewall, thus eliminating sidewall flex, and making your turns more precise

well yea..for the first few hot laps, i left it at 35..then it rose to 40something...falken says the tires shouldnt be at such a high psi, so i dropped it and rode 38 around for the rest of the day..

How did I not post in this thread originally?
36PSI on stock size, DD tires.
For the "race tires" (215/40/17).....depends on the course surface and amount of grip/rollover. Last event I ran 32 PSI in the rear and 35 in the front I believe (slick surface). Actually the fronts were different due to a heavy right handed biased course. I think my left front was at 37, while the right was at 35.
With a grippy surface or heavy load on one corner I will raise the pressure a bit to compensate for rollover.
