Fog Light ?

so i was looking at both of my fog lights and the right fog light seems to look like it has an inner crack in the plastic cover. like a straight like deep in the plastic but no cracks wat so ever on the outside. im thinking this is the way they are made. if possible can anyone give any advice, maybe take some pix of both fogs so i can see if its just me. thx

I keep telling him to slow his roll not wanting to take any kind of direction from others though, merely interested in asking tons of questions.

I don't have any cracks in mine. Just the molding ripples... sounds like yours is cracked... watch for moisture in it when it gets wetter out.

I have a crack... and moisture. Nothing you can do about other than replace it.

Yup... if you dont replace it you will eventually have a fog light half filled with water. Just like my buddy in his Rx-8, during rainy seasons in fills half way up with water. He called it the aqua-look

its not a crack at all on the outside tho, if you look within the left foglight there like a clear line within the back of the plastic fog light cover.

yep i have the same problem, moisture gets in, but that might be because my foglight housing isn't sealed right when i replaced the bulb 20x times... It seems our foglights have a "drain" pipe for letting water out.

Yeah I have the same thing in both of mine, I accidently dropped mine on the ground from like 2 inches and it cracked one. And I dont know how the other one got cracked, happened after I re-installed it after painting them.

yes is has or had a ralliart....

But as far as the drain pipe, definitely not what you're seeing. That "pipe" that i'm talking about is the little rubber hose that comes off it and surrounds the wire coming out of the ballast. It prevents water from getting in and most likely allows water to get out since its located below the ballast. As for the crack, its definitely not right and its definitely unfixable. Its not external, and unless you want to rip apart your lense and put some ghetto "glass repair" glue in it you're sh*t out of luck. It doesn't affect my light beam at all so I just leave it. Soon enough I'll just buy some cheapo "Yellow stained" ones from ebay for about 75$.
