problem

Hey guys,
i have a problem with my front drivers side suspension or whatever it is ( i didn't have a chance to get under the car yet ). So herte is my problem i drove in this stupid winter time and there were a lot of holls in the road... i got myself in one of those few times and it was hard .. so now when i am driving and have a little bump something is clicking very noticable. It is doing that when i am doing a turn to the right but never when i turn to the left... For me it seems like something crack and is hunging but i have no idea what's that..

I hope i make sense...

P.S. Anybodyhave a picture of the whole driver's side parts numbers?

Check/inspect your ball joints, bushings, tie rod ends, etc. Also make sure your spring perch is clean (free of gravel.)

I think otters on the right track here. You either have some gravel up in the perches or the struts are blown, which happens quite a bit with the RA.

i had that exact problem at 20k miles..same place, sound etc..it was ( as i remember) the bushings on top of the left front strut...mitsu replaced them..not the whole strut..very easy job..no problems since.

sorry don't know that...i think it was the bushings just underneath where the red stabilizer bar connects to engine bay...can't be too much..i don't think they had to remove the strut...i would order the parts and get my mechanic to do it rather than dealer if your warrenty is out.

Are there after-market bushings that would be better to install then the OEM ones? I have the EXACT same problem right down to how and when the noises are made.

Mine did the same thing for about 3 days. Everytime I would go over a bump or make a hard right turn I would get this wierd clunk. I had everything checked and they could not find anything. I got it off the rack and it never made the sound again.
