Reman front axles?

Reman front axles?
Have any of you been able to track down remanufactured front axles for our car? I'm having a hell of a time finding any, and to buy new OEM would be $1,200, which is not an option. It's starting to look like I'll be forced to buy a junkyard set then pay to have them rebuilt.

Yeah, I'm in a "need now" situation, found I have a torn boot. With 110k on my car, I'm just going to replace them, since they're likely to go very soon, anyways.
Duralast (Autozone) has part numbers listed on their site, but the product doesn't actually exist yet. I'm waiting to hear back from a CV remanufacturer down in Florida. If they don't have any for my car, I'm going to have to buy a junkyard set and send them to be rebuilt.
I've checked with with Autozone, NAPA, and Parts America (Murrays/Advanced/Schucks.) None of them have them, so no other parts store will.

For the sake of adding info to the thread, www.cvaxles.com (rebuilder in FL) doesn't have them, but will rebuild them for $55 each.

I just emailed Raxles axles (also in Florida) to see if they carry anything for the RA.
I bought from them for several of my DSMs, nothing but great results. They don't reman, they use all new joints. I think they re-use the shafts, so you have to send back your old junk.
I'll post up when I get a reply.

From what I've been reading, all the remanufacturers who do it right reuse the axle, new joint, *don't* regrind the cups and new boot/bands/grease. Then rebalance and inspect a half-million times during the process.
Also, something really odd I've noticed, why is it that every CV remanufacturer I've seen seems to have been founded in 1992?
