Problem...

i had a grounding kit on and i decided i wanted to take it off today. soo after i removed it i put the negative back on the negative terminal and started the car up, i let it sit and idle for a minute and then it dies off with the battery light coming on. i looked at that clear cap on the top of the battery and i do see the blue dot that says its OK...it does start right up and stays on for about a minute but when the rpms get ready to settle off they just completely drop off and the car dies. now the negative side was also a little loose after removing the grounding piece soo i tightened it as tight as i could go and if i tried really hard i could still pull it off soo i added another little metal sleeve to the the terminal ring and it fits perfectly tight now but still dies off. help
