Today on my way to school I was getting a little cold so I went to close my sunroof and it just made this bad sound like gears grinding and it wouldn't close. When I gat to school I pulled it closed and into position while pushing the button. That way it won't leak if it starts to rain. Has this happend to any of you? what will it cost to fix?

 

It could be the problem I had with mine. There are 3 screws that hold the motor in place that came loose. You'll have to take out the headliner. Be careful, because the screws will fall down when you do it, don't lose them. Put the motor back in place, screw the screws back in place tightly. mine just broke today, but the motor isnt out of place, its like the glass is just off the rail. the motor fully works. anyone know how to get it back on?

 

i have this same problem and was told it's either 3 things. either my motor went bad, sunroof when off tack or i'm onna need a new cable. i'm going o pull down the headliner this weekend and hope fo the best beacuse the motor is almost $400 at the dealer

i had to get mine replaced about a year ago it stoped opening and closing and still to this day sometimes i have problems.....

 

Might just need the bolts put back in where the glass mates to the track/rail thing.
