So have you put the car completely back to stock and see if that solves anything?
It would at least narrow it down for ya..

Sorry, no I still have the CAI. To be honest I probably wont put the stocker back on cause its going to be a PIA. I am hopfully gonna get some free time tomorrow night or sunday to tear it down and look.

Has anybody ever thought that maybe just the injectors are clogged up bad? I know theres not a real great way to clean them, but im just thinking that might be the issue maybe?

i doubt you need to change it back to stock. just check for oil in the piping and MAF

as for the fuel injectors... check in the phone book. I know there's a place in my city who cleans and tests fuel injectors to make sure they are in spec. Highly doubt that the injectors are clogged though becuase there are fuel filters, plus i have over 80000 miles on my car and never had any problems with fuel injectors.

which fuel are you using? maybe try using a top-tier fuel

Yea, well if they were to get cleaned or replaced someone else would do it. I have another idea I might try to tonight. I will post tomorrow if it works out.

Well my idea was a no go because apparently our car has no fuel filter. I thought maybe it was clogged and causing my car to run back. I guess we have some strainer thing instead?

Also my SES went off tonight, so who knows maybe my car is demonized?

It does have a fuel filter.
It is just attached to the fuel pump.

Yea thats what I was told it had. So I ran my buddies scanner on it today and it pulled P0171 which is lean Bank One and P0300 which is random misfire.

So we looked around and there is no real fix, my friend said that the (front 02 sensor?) was not reading that great, but the cost to replace one is like $160 or somthing so I will just let it go.

But I did clear the codes and pulled the negative off and kept it off for 2 hours (went to applebee's ) and came back let it idle for about 20 min (its cold here) and then drove it home not going over 3200 rpm. It drove good so who knows?
