Unhappy Help!

Alright I'm an extreme noob here. I have a 06 ralliart and I just bought rims and an evo 8 spoiler from my friend. I know I'll have to drill new holes possibly for the spoiler but I'm concerned about the rims. The brand is Exel, which I haven't heard much about? but they are the Radius Gun Metal ones and they are 17 x 7, and the tires are Hankook 215/45R17 Everything on my car is stock, I also believe it's lowered... I read a bunch of stuff on here, but it seems like everyone's got a different answer, but I'd just like to know if they'd fit, or if I should just try and sell them? I apologize, but I know absolutely nothing about these things, but that's what I'm here for, to learn

What's the offset of the rim? The tire and rim combo will fit.. What's the height of the car?

Can't tell you if they'll fit without knowing the offset. The offset will be stamped somewhere on the inside of the rim.

Or, you could just put them on the car and see if they fit.

I looked on the rims and couldn't find the offset anywhere, which is odd... I found this tough: http://www.amazon.com/EXEL-RADIUS-17.../dp/B001K97O7M on there it's saying it's 42... which sounds right. I would put them on, but that's a lot of work for me to do by myself just to find out they won't fit or that they'll rub

If im not mistaken most rims come in different sizes. (offset wise)
So looking them up online wont do you any good.
And if your car is possibly lower there is no telling.
Your just going to have to bite the bullet and just try them on.

That is not the offset, thats the bolt pattern. If you look on the inside of the rim, in your case it should say 17x7 and another 2 digit number, which would be the offset.

FYI, in the bolt pattern 5x114.5, 5 is the number of lug nuts and 114.5 is the cross-sectional distance between them. A quick search either in the forum or in the internet will show you a lot.

If you think putting the wheels on is too much work, just put either the left or right side on...that way if the rear doesnt fit or the front rubs the fender when you turn the steering wheel completely to either side (do it while parked, no need to run the car through the street), then youll know it without hte hassle of doing everything again.

I'm pretty sure they will be alright

here's the RA:

and this is the spoiler:

(just did links for the pics on my flickr cause they might be kinda big)

I'm thinking I'm going to have a friends dad install the spoiler, and I think I'll just have him put the wheels on too... too much for a girl like me to do by myself lol But honestly I looked all over the rims, and I came across everything except for the offset... so I guess I'll find out if they work or not when there on. But thanks everyone for the input and advice!
