Will EVO's rear anti swar bar fit the RA?

I have a friend who got an upgrade on his EVO´s IX rear anti sway bar and I was just wondering if his stock one will fit my RA and second if it would be an upgrade for me?

I don't believe so, it follows a different path due to having to dodge their rear diff, plus, it's far too stiff for our application. Their swaybar also uses different endlinks.

Although the sway bar doesn't fit... wasn't there a thread about what other evo suspension mods would fit? like a few of the cusco bars or something like that iirc

Ok, the thing is that I'm buying a used RRM rear sway bar for RA from a friend, but since he lives in another state and he doesn´t have the stock one, I´d have to send mine and wait until he sends the RRM one to me, so I would be one week or more without a sway bar, that´s why I wanted to put the EVO´s MR stock one.

Will I have trouble if I use my car w/o the sway bar?

I don't think so.... i think you'll be okay without one because our stock swaybar is so lame anyway i dont think you'll notice a difference

IMO, I would do it the other way around, since you're the one paying. ;P The car is fine without a swaybar, just more understeer-happy.

honestly it really shouldn't make that much of a difference, unless you are doing some hard cornering

Keep in mind the RA is a Lancer with more power under the hood. I would contact the ROCK at RRM to know for sure. Not sure how many parts cross over from Evo...

Most of the front end as far as suspension is concerned is the same except the sway bars, because of the wider track width of the evo (the wheels are farther apart).
Struts, coilovers, springs and chassis braces should all fit with no modification.

Please correct me Mods if I'm not correct.
