It depends on how much the timing is advance, it's only advance alittle to increase the octane on the gas, there is no downsides. It's like all the hondas advancing the timing on their distributors.

I also am considering the RA Timing Box. Anyone that has it have any input on performance gains to risk?

The factory ECU is very tricky. I'll leave it at that.

Finally installed mine! Took a quick lap, more apparent power at lower rpm and definitely more torque. Mine is also paired with Piggyback V2, noticed more gains with the timing box at innitial install than the Piggy when first installed.

I'm sure the combination of the two make all the difference. Great addon!

am higly thinking of buying one but kinda hesite if it doesnt come with instructions.... i dont really know mecanics

If you open the hood, it's in the top left corner of the engine bay, if you still need pics let me know i'll go take some.

I was wondering where have people put the box? I am trying to find a good place to put it up with out it have the change of fall off and hitting the belts or something like that. Anyone have any good idea?
