This has been discussed to death, try searching for it.
I use Synchromesh (GM synchromesh to be precise).
EDIT: on my most recent flush I went with whatever the OEM stuff is. Just because I had a hookup with it haha.

Amsoil's is good fluid, but it didn't seem to like cold weather too much, shifting was really difficult on a cold trans (sub-freezing temps.) That's just my experience, though, many, many people swear by their trans fluid.

That isn't true. As long as it's a GL-4 oil, synthetic is fine. I've used nothing but BG Synchroshift II (fully synthetic) for 141,000 miles now. Trans shifts like new.

otter.... Were you using the MTG ? If so.... was it in a X ?
