Deciding to bump this thread. I had a random idea when regoing through this and just wondered if the ground power is what is cut... would there be a problem of just splicing a wire from the ground wire to the negative terminal into the battery? just a wild idea. any thoughts?

Funny I was just reading thru this thread and had a similar idea, but since the chassis is neg ground, all you should hafta do is run a wire to the chassis from the switch!! If thats all it takes to fix this, theres gonna be alot of people bangin their heads on the wall in this forum LOL

I don't think it's that simple. I Belize the computer has to see a ground from your headlight swith, then it will allow the fog switch to function. I could be wrog but I do recall reading something about this a while back, because I had the same thought if grounding the switch but was told it wouldn't work....
