K&N Air Filter

I know many people just go straight for the SRI or CAI but because of where im at right now i wanted a cheap alternative and unsure if im going to be trading in my RA next summer.
Installation was a breeze, no problems just slid right in. 2-3 minutes tops
Performance- I did notice some perfomance gain but nothing major probably compare to the CAI or SRI but nice improvement.

What do you guys think?or was i better off paying the extra coin to buy SRi or CAI?

If you are planning of getting rid of the car soon you made the right choice. 40 vs 250 dollars.

If you're getting rid of the car that soon I wouldn't have even bothered with the filter. ;P

or a sales pitch.

Personally I don`t like oiled filters. so just buy an oem replacement from napa.. or vacuum it out and then trade it in.

Honestly man I ran both the drop-in, and the Injen CAI which could be converted to an SRI, so basically all three. I didn't feel a difference in power between any of them, although I enjoyed the sound of the SRI the best. I did not throw the car on a dyno, this was all just from what the butt dyno had to say. I'm sure there may be a few ponies actual difference. *shrugs*
