ok so mivec kicks in at 3600 and you dont feel it until 4k is it because their is a lag time their or what that would mean that the power doesent come on till 4k rpms right?

Don't quote me on this, but didn't mitsu start changing peoples ECU's when you brought it in for service? For an update/mivec change?
I own a 2006 so my mivec doesn't engage till 4,000. I feel it a lot now with all the upgrades/ecu flash by Michael. But when it was stock I could even feel it engage, but everyone else thought I was crazy.
I would say find somewhere you can just rev the car in idle and find out where it really is activating. You'll hear a difference and notice the RPMs jump faster. Rev it slowly up the RPMS

Actually he's right about the Mivec light. Just do that and you'll know for sure when your mivec engages

04-05 models kick in at 3500. 06 is 4. now will all the mods I have I barely notice kick in at 3500, but when i hit 4500 now it LAUNCHES. When my piggy was working it would be an even acceleration with no real big kick.
