I wish most of the speed limits around here were 55 (not like a reduction in the speed limit would stop driving like ****ing *******s).

Kind of off topic, but speaking of a**hole drivers... Yesterday, Some guy with waist long hair and his 80's blue jean rock coat desides to be a punk in his late 90's trans am and started riding my buddies 240sx's *** with sr20det swap. He flicked us off, so we flicked him off. We then get to a red light and he's right bethind us. When the light turn green, the crazy suicide passes us into oncomming traffic. Of course he pulled up to the same McDonald's we were going to and he then proceeds to yell saying he sees cars like my buddies in his review mirror( lol my buddies 240sx runs 11's) Then we shouted back and I threw out the quote, That long hair don't cover that redneck boy! Sorry for the rambling lol It was just an entertaining day.

You're in TX, enjoy your new 85 MPH state maximum.

MI is 70, flow of traffic on freeways is more around 80-85 and the police are generally cool with this.

i have no mods but getting cold air this week installed and spirited drivings a huge impact on me and try to stay away anything over 2000 rpms cause I noticed as soon as u pass u kill gas. I'm a daily driver and by sticking to the speed limit n not caring about people passing me like crazy, I stay on 1500 rpm to 1650 rpms and my miliege almost doubles on the tank. Regularly little spirited I get a tank a week grannying the ra I get almost a tank every 12 days instead of maybe ever 5 to 6 days.

I am in IL too and the 55 speed limit sucks big time. I just took a vacation in arizona and it was 75 on most of the expressways. Was surprised that with all the old people out there that more people arent hurt driving out there but I sure enjoyed it.

In the city with the CAI there really isn't a difference but in the freeway holy mother of aunt jamaia maia it freaking sucks my mpg drop about 15% on the freeway becouse of the CAI, this weeekend I filled up before left and becouse of maybe 2 15min trips, 4 I guess back going back home too, almost half my tank dissapeared. I got so pissed on the last 1 I said screw it and went 140k the whole 15min cause it almost didn't make difference with the cold air intake what a difference, this sucks.
