I'm in the same boat raikiri, I just want to make sure I order from a company that won't screw around and I am ordering the hood that I'm looking for, but it makes me nervous ordering from a place that doesn't have a picture.

I can't believe anyone would want a CF hood more than an LSD...it's almost retarded.

I had a VIS that i got from craigslist. Onlyway too keep it flush was hoodpins. And it faded and cracked pretty fast. I also saw another VIS hood on a car in the SCLC meet an it had the same unflush fitment issue as mine.

I don't think LSDs can go on an auto tranny? If I were to get a CF hood id just end up painting it to the color of my car.

well if I've said it once I've said 100 times, I'll never get another cf hood ... the look was great for the first year then it started to haze, and eventually it looked stain even with fresh wax. then as luck would have it , it was destroyed in my accident and now I have a duraflex one, I had it paint matched to the car 1st but then it took the aggressive look away from it at least I thought so. Then I got it painted gloss black ,soon the roof to match.. ...

I would only get the hood if it's something you really need/want because the "weight savings" are minimal , if it's cf it has short shelf life then it will look like ****, and for the money you spend you could get something else more useful or things that are more useful. just my 2 cents...

For my purposes, I just want it because I like it lol. I am not getting it for weight savings etc... just want it because I like the look/style/venting purpose. drive my car mid april through mid october and parked in a garage when I am home. I am talking to SpeedCorps right now and weighing my options. Thanks Lanzer.

What's speedcorps saying about the hood? They seem legit under the new mgmt?
