what are your times? I think i'm making decent power, probably not 184, but we're also quite a bit heavier...i run 15.3, but i'm not sure if the LSD is helping me launch or robbing power once i'm moving...before Hackish flashed my ECU my best was 15.7, same time of year, same track, similar temperature.

dont have time paper, i run this monday and here in Pr\R monday are street days (like to test car and have fun), u need a friend to look the sceam when u run to know ur time and mph.

about ur car and time,if is stock good time but dont like the mph. dont know how he reflash it if it was not on a dyno it wont make u anygood because every car are diferent.

when u go to the strip again, take out ur rear bumper, all ur seat exept urs and make the intake to stuck air from outside and u will see a big diference.

What did the engine come out of?

It looks to me like there's a lot left once you get it to launch hard.

the engine came of a 05 lancer ralliart and trani is a hybrid of ralliart and mirage ls (outside ralli and inside mirage).

off an 05 Ralliart, that's a different plastic shroud over the motor , it looks like one from an eclipse , they have that little Y part that connects to the intake

I only took the spare tire and jack out...everything else i left in, seats, stock subwoofer, etc. the only performance mods i have are the reflash and the AEM intake, you could count the muffler, but i don't...my highest mph was 92, but that yielded a slower time, it's all in the launch, and how the car hooks up...

the plasitic is froma outlander, when u bout the engine it didnt have that plastic and the one i foun was from a outlander.

Is it that the Lancer Ralliart gearbox would not work ?
From what I have seen it has closer ratios than the Mirage which would help at the strip.

Both tranny's work the problem is the mirage LS bolt pattern of the housing which needs modification and yea people like the mirage differential :P

How is a 4G63 from an Evo V in a Mirage ? It has an Evo VIII turbo.

Does that count as silly ?

mirage ls finaldrive is like 3.66 and Ralliart is 4.05. i went with ls to save money on the trani and i am happy with it 3rd gear is great and maybe with shorter trani will lose some MPH. maybe in the future will try the 4.05 o the 4.30 from 4g69 eclipse but atm i will keep the 3.66.
