Red face clock fell it.

Hey guys I just purchased a 2006 Lancer Ralliart and I'm loving it I enjoy ever piece of it expect that when I was setting the time on my clock I think I might of pushed it too hard and the clock fell in. I was wondering if anyone could help me out on a step by step tutorial on how to remove the dash to I could reach around it. Thanks in advance and hope to evolve into Lancer-fanatic!!!!

Yeah try it from the cd deck , because other wise your going to have to remove the gauge cluster surround, the cd player surround, and a dozen small screws.

Sadly it's most likely from the previous owner, maybe he had a radar detector mounted there or something. Trade in's just need to "look" good , not actually be good , people don't care about the next guy.

It's not TOO bad to get at that. First pull the knobs off the HVAC and take the few screws out you should be able to pry that bezel off then. If you can take the radio out and get to the clock then that's awesome. If not there are screws up in little recesses on the gauge surround. Take it out then you should be able to SLOWLY pry that entire panel that runs from the cluster over to the passenger side. It'll pop and crack like its breaking everywhere but its just the dozen clips that hold it in. If you get that off you will be able to get at that panel and the screws (that i think) hold it in. Good luck with it!

take the bezel off...you just pull the HVAC knobs off...and you should be able to pop the bezel off, i forget if the hazard light switch is connected to it, but you can disconnect that easy enough. then you take the mounting screws off from the CD deck, and unplug it...then see if you can get your hands up behind the clock...
