Exclamation

i launch @ 3000rpm's, right before mivec kicks in and i got some wheel spin up to 4000-4500 rpms, but after that, its clear sailing. I would think that a low 1500-2000rpms wouldnt do anything, no?

Question

so low rpm (1500-2000)launching is better than high rpm(2500+) launching in stock tires?

^^^ that's what I was thinking, but than again I never launched that low... ive always launched @ 3000rpms and once i hit about 4k-4500k rpms the tires stop spinning and grip and take off. Im on stock tires too.

LMAO.... no, I rented one for a day in Vegas once though. I had the biggest sh*t-eating grin on my face for a week afterwards.

Oh yes, tonight, well, I'll just say that I found out the much-feared type-s isn't really much to be feared.

i heard that spining ur tires in the starting line would be better in launching, i don't know exactly how it is done, maybe steping in the brackes or e-brake and a lot of practice? not sure tho

^^^ wheelspin is not good, your just sitting there till your car gains traction. If you mean spinning the tires to warm them up than yeah... thats fine.

Turbo, how did it go? Details, Details, Details...

thats pretty impressive considering the type s has almost 30 more hp stock.
I can run 15.2 with my ralliart... with only cai cat back and new lighter weight rims and very sticky G-force tires. I know I could run 15.4s when my car was stock.
