I like to launch at around 4K.. mivec kicks in around 4300-4500

4300k-4500k? Did you alter MIVEC? it kicks in @ a early 3500rpms.

well they don't sit there till they gain traction, i think they control their traction, like in a drag strip scenario...red light, spin, yellow, spins fast with smoke, green, traction! can it be done?how?with brakes?

here are my 2cents on this one,
one of my pals owns a 03 sentra se-r spec v and it does not pull away from a ralliart wagon,he only has like 5000 miles more than me on his car ..he also have 18's on it but he has some mods (CAI and exhaust)

Yeah, thing is though, I'm pretty sure I beat the driver, not the car. Or the drivers lousy choice of modding. Either way, it was still fun.

i just beat a celica GTS and a 2g eclipse GST!!!!!!! im ready to run a type-s again, but this time i will win. last time i played with a type-s i last, but at that time i didn't know how race my car.

what if ralliart has DOHC engine and awd? but same power, will it be a big diff.?

^^^ yeah, there be a HUGE difference, and that's what just awd. DOHC with mivec means, cams change profiles on both intake and exhaust. Stock vs. Stock, we'd murder type-s easily.

In japan ther ralliart is DOHC 1.8liter MIVEC, Turbo, AWD.

In Singapore, they have a lancer ralliart turbo with a 1.6L MIVEC turbo with some sort of INVEC (or something) transmission. I think it puts out about the same number as our North American Ralliart.

isnt the jdm ralliart has the same power as the us ralliart? thats what i heard.

i thought i read the jdm ralliart puts out less hp. there was a thread on here awhile back about it

jdm lancer mx touring and mx-e. has an option for awd. jdm ralliart has 165/5,500 PS/rpm and max torque 22.4/3,500 km-g/rpm (172 torque).
