LSD is what in Mitsubishi its called TCL (Tracking Control) and its found in the Galant GTS, Montero Limited and Endeavor. For what I know this improves traction considerably, but lowers power in some kind of way. I tell you this cos the only way to litteraly burn rubber from a start in the galant is if you turn off the TCL. Correct me if Im wrong.

Yeah those damn ls's man. I know a kid who has one down the street and it's pretty dang fast with just a couple of NA mods too. Though I can run with him side by side and slowly pull from him, he is getting a chip real soon so that my be a different story...

That is so odd how people are beating spec v's one after another. I not only test drove one and could tell it was faster, but I ran against one and he beat the crap outta me (im auto unfortunately) by a car length practically.

Yeah I know what you are saying... i have driven in specs and they are undoubtedly faster. I have also run with specs and they do pull from me slowly (i am auto too though).

2x, I took an old LS (w/ the retangle headlights) by a lil over 2 car lenghts... this guy had a full body kit w/ spoiler and graphic paint job, tires & rims, I/H/E (double exhaust) and had a passenger. I was stock and i drive a MT.

I admit he was more show than go, but he shouldnt have reved @ me.

Well I did smoke the guy in the SE-R by far from the star. In 3rd gear he started to catch up, I guess de extra HP kicked in, but wasnt enough and I beat him by almost 1.5 cars. He was so pissed off that wanted to check out my engine for any mods, I gladly showed him my baby virgin as from stock and got even more angry. It was so funny. One more mouth shut. This othere guy even wanted to buy my car and pay what I paid for it new. Hes visiting me today at the dealership, hopefully I'll sell him a 05 Silver RA that just arrived from plant.

Traction control and LSD are not the same. Traction control is computer activated and controls wheel spin by either applying the brakes or retarding fuel delivery (or a combination of the 2). LSD (limited slip differential) is a gear-type device that keeps one wheel from spinning w/o the other. Here is some more detail:http://http://www.club4ag.com/faq%20...ential_101.htm

I noticed my tires really suck big time! What set of rubbers would you recomend me if I live in a damp warm tropical place (86ºF 90% humidity) with 10 months a year of rain????

I don't care for trojan to much. I think that lifestyle is good and Durex is OK too.
