Ralliart Clicking...?

When I put the key to the accessory position, the car makes 6-7 distinct clicking sounds....they're coming from the drivers' side engine compartment, sounds near to the firewall> What is this? Can someone check to see if this is normal? Thanks.

no no, not beeping...distinct, fast mechanical clicking...click click click....just like that. Then it stops after 6-7 times.

It is probably the abs system getting calibrated. You can read about it in the manual.

tick tick tick like a watch, but amplified...as loud as when you hear a hot engine cooling down...it's not coming from the engine, though. Possibly ABS..? But the manual says you'll hear a motor noise when the car is started, which is the ABS self check...

Soooo...insomniac has given the Thumbs Up to normal..I'll assume it does it with your vehicle as well? It's somewhat loud...I thought I would have heard it previously!

It's a Mtsu, clicking, rattles, and explosions resulting in cataclysmic loss of life are all normal...
