Post Magnaflow Sreet Series 14829???

Hey Guys,

Sorry - I meant Magnaflow .. not Dynaflow.

Thinking of upgrading my stock Ralliart Exahust with the Magnaflow 14829. Does anyone here have any experience with this muffler system on the Ralliart??

I'm looking for a nice deep-throaty sound, and NOT the Ricer-Mobile sound.

Wonder if anyone can point me to some WAV files of this exhaust, or give me your first-hand thoughts and experiences with it!!

Thanks,
Nick

Magnaflow is good, as long as you keep your resonator

People have been saying the RRM is deep and it uses Magnaflow. Maybe ask them what muffler they use on the axleback.

Hi....I have the M 14864 Street series and the car just sounds a little more than stock. I had a Titanium axle back before in the car and it just sounded to loud and awful. The magnaflow I'm using is 6' round and is 2.5 in 2.25 ID and 4' oval tip. It doesnt look or sound rice at all.. My friend has a RA with a complete 2.5 exh and 2.5 ultraflow muffler and I pull on him 1/2 a car always.. Maybe 2.5 its not worth while using stock cat.

Thumbs up

Thanks for all of your input guys. My local Cole Muffler is offering to install the Magnaflow Street Series 14829 for $190 for a complete install. Includes all brackets and labor.

I'm finding it hard to resist getting it done. From what you guys have said, and from my research on the web .. it doesn't sound like Magnaflow makes a "Ricey" Sounding muffler ... all reviews praise them for their nice low rumble!!

Think I'll just bite the bullet and get it installed!!

I will post some pics after my car is all done. So far I have the Front Mesh Grill Inserts, EVO VIII Carbon Fiber Spoiler, 17" 5Zigen Wheels w/ Pirelli Tires, Stub Antenna, and Magnaflow and the Injen CAI are next up!!

Nick

I just picked up the 14832 SS Muffler and I was wondering when you installed it was there any kind of sleeve or piping you needed to make it work. Im having my friend install it, but I wasnt sure what I was getting myself into. Im not to familiar with what you need when you install a muffler, I just think all you do is weld it on and it fits perfectly..Someone clue me in here....

Somebody should really make a sound clip of their RRM axleback setup. A lot of people are curious about how it sounds.

I forgot the part number for mine but it has a 7"/22" body with a 4" tip
when I first installed it, I barely heard any difference... it was Soooooo quiet
deeper.. but SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO QUIET
I took out the resonator, u can hear it a little more but still quiet sometimes you can't even
tell if the car is on or not (only find out when u turn the start key again -_-' shiet)
after I took out the resonator, my muffler pops when reving the engine high... backpressure?

Question on Magnaflow 14836 & 14826

Greetings Guys!

I am the proud first owner of a Ralliart in my City, Monterrey, México. I want to upgrade the exahust and I have a few questions for the pros on this subject.

At my local exahust shop, they have the Magnaflows 7" Round Body 14836 & 14826.

Do they fit my car?
Do I have to change anything else?
The car will loose or gain power?

Thank you in advance for your responses

#14826

Get the 14829, it fits great and has a nice angle cut tip, it really fits the car nice. Rydog and I both have them.
