Timing Belt Tools

Timing Belt Tools
Just replaced the timing belt and balance shaft belt. Did the work at home. Job went okay, just the usual nervous extra-careful approach and double check of all the critical steps, this being the first time I've done this job. When finished, car started and ran without shaking my teeth out so I think it's all good. Thank you to the timing belt contributors to our RA forum and also the you-tube videos that helped (be discerning, there are a couple from professional mechanics and also some dangerously wrong videos, but you all know the drill...)
Car has only 70,000 km on it but is 10 years old now - original belts looked in very good shape but can't trust just visual inspection.
Anyway, I made a couple of tools to help. Easy to do.
MD998738 is the tool that compresses the automatic belt tensioner. Just bought M8x1.25 threaded rod and welded a nut on the end. Could just use two nuts jammed together if you don't have a welder.
MD998767 is the tool that turns the timing belt tensioner pulley (the one with two small holes) to preload the timing belt. Used steel sheet about 1/8" thick and bent it in a vice. Drilled two 1/8" holes, pressed in the dowel pins and used loctite to secure them. Critical dimensions are here:
