Refinishing/painting konig wheels - How?

I found a set of what I believe is konig wheels for sale pretty cheap, but they have some piting from salt and would need to be sand blasted and either reshined or painted. Does anyone know if this is possible and how much something like this would cost to have done.

The idea sounds really cool to me because I would be able to have something totally original, but i dont have a clue about the cost.

I don't think you should bother with those, Unless you plan on getting them fixed and painted. In the end you should probably just buy new wheels.

It's about 40$ per wheel to powder coat and almost 40$ per wheel to bead blast. Thats what i found locally.

If I bought them it would cost me around $150 including shipping. I would definately get them refinished and painted if I were to get them. I guess the only reason I would want to do this is to make them one of a kind...Do something different. I was thinking maybe have the lips polished and teh spokes color match painted white using mitsu diamond white paint, or MAYBE go with something crazy like red w/ polished lip. I would interested in seeing a photoshop of that first though.

can they actually paint the wheels using our body paint, or can you only get wheels powder coated.

cleaned, any curb fixes, sanded, painted (3 stage pearl), mounted, balanced, chrome valve stems, etc etc for me was under $450 CAD for the stockers. They actually can paint them, no issue.

I take it you have a white RA... I think that red would look really good... get them, clean them, paint them, and be happy that you have something that no one else has...

the auction for those is already over, but I am still interested in how you can clean rims in that kind of condition yourself. There is always used rims for sale real cheap on ebay that just need a little TLC.
