You can get a 14lb 17" wheel from Motegi now, and a 15" that is 10lbs.

Those motegi wheels are expensive as hell due to them being forged If you spend that much you might as well buy Volks

My Gram Light 57F's are about 14lbs in a 17x8.5. I paid $410 each for them.

i've been looking at the volks ce28's price i don't care cause you'd may as well by something that you like instead of settling for something. also does it help at all having rims that are like 10lbs compared to 22lbs?? i mean i know it should but what would it help?

From: Lakenheath UK, but my heart is in PR
Itīs less unsprung weight, which makes the car handle better, and itīs also less rotational weight, so itīs easier for the engine to move them while easier on the brakes to stop them. All of this equals to better overall performance (with som good tires of course ) and better wear (at least for the brakes).

When I switched from the stock forged BBS rims to the Gram Lights and PS2's, I saved five pounds per rim. The 20lbs of unsprung weight was definitely noticeable in handling.
