Bad enough my car is covered in road salt and running on steelies, but now it squeels, too. Makes it look like your run-of-the-mill POS.

I remember my old car, it was grey. I didn't wash it once in the year that I had it, the layer of dirt on it was so uniform it didn't even look dirty.

I'd make some joke about greasing the discs so they didn't squeak... but I couldn't live with myself if someone tried it :|

If i let my car sit over night the rotors rust, and i can hear it as I pull out of my driveway making a sliding sound which could very likely make a groaning sound that you're hearing. Since i don't back out of my driveway i can't confirm it, but i know as i drive away i have to brake check to rub all the rust off and it makes a slight scraping sound as the rust wears off... But that up in Boston/New England area, i don't know if anyone else has that problem...

the loud braking in reverse IS NOT rust forming overnight... Mine did the same thing everyone here seems to be describing and mitsubishi has an updated brake pad to fix the problem. Just get a hold of a dealer and get it fixed.
