17x8

im not sure if this subject has been talked about but does anybody kno if 17x8 rims will fit on r cars with 215/40r17 tires????

well the guy above your post says 18 x 8 fit with spacers and fenders rolled. So i guess these would fit.. you might have some crazy wheel well rub up front though.. I know i do and i 225/45/17

I know a guy in PR that has them but unfortunately his fenders always damage the tire. Maybe he should try a wheels with less width

if you have the cash, you could get the fenders rolled. i think that would be a good look on an RA.

Yeahh I know but if you plan to race Auto X or street (not recommended) 17x8 might give you trouble. If all you want is the look buy some 17x7 and some cheap spacers and that way you can see if it is worth it.

17X8 will fit nicely with 225-40-17's without any rubbing my i took the rims off my brothers evo and they fit nicely the only problems that i ran in to was that since the tires are 235-45-17 it rubbed on the inner corner of my front lip and i believe the back rubbed a little bit too it was a year ago that i did this so i dont remember correctly but if you put 225-40-17 it will fit 215's are small for 17X8's
