ebay tie bar

just wonderin if anyone here ever tried to put this on their car.

Just by looking at the design I can tell you it won't work well for you. The bar itself looks sturdy enough (though it's not a part that should be made from aluminum), but the end brackets and the bolts connecting that to the bar are going to flex on you.

I bet I could break that thing with the smaller instron (tension) machine I have at work, hence waste of money. Get the RRM one.

any tie bar thats 10 bucks will last for about 10min.. the rrm tie bar is 89 plus shipping, i have it and its a good product. sometimes its worth it to spend the extra money.

I agree the brackets are gonna allow flex... Probably won't break though... The only thing I like about this one over the RRM model is the adjustment... It appears to have a reverse thread on one side, allowing adjustment while on the car.... The RRM one has to be removed to be adjusted, and as such isn't as adjustable due to the design only allowing for 180 degree twists in adjustment...

I would like a chromoly version, with the adjustment shown on the ebay model and solid mounted ends instead of brackets...

yeah i wouldnt mind the chrome either. it will blind ppl driving behind me at night and they wont see my brake lights............i wouldnt mind getting a free body kit lol.

go RRM!!! worked good for me! cept i had to reweld some parts cuz the welds looked to be done by an ammature (no offence RRM, just suggesting a welding class down there maybe
