am i missing something here, but what is the point in making a nice car look like something you'd find in a hick's back yard?

lol i guess your not into all sorts of automotive mods, in the field if airbags and sound systems his car is in fine condition everyone understands he has ALOT of body work to do , its no uncommon to see a bagged car primerd up, so now that u understand it, try not bashing it.

No where was i bashing, i did not flame him, or call him a name, it was a basic question that i used said example to descibe what i was trying to understand.

no where did i say "good job your car looks like **** now"

i still dont grasp the concept of welding shut the fuel door, but then leaving all the welding there insted of grinding it smooth and shaving it clean.

in canada, i've never seen any of these types of shows take place.

most of the time when they do so much work to make the suspention work you end up with a remote gas tank to fill other ways or move the filler neck to somwere els, i dont know why he didnt grind it down but that makes sence on your end.

scrappers have to fix the under body of the car too. he probably has the gas tank somewhere else on the car now so that he doesnt gash a hole into it.
