skid plate
hey all, i want to construct a template for a skid plate on my 04 ralliart and i was just wondering if i should just make a huge one for the whole bottom or should i make individual pieces for certain part underneath and if so what spots are a must to cover?

I would think one larger panel would be easier. The transmission and oil pan are a must cover. I was thinking about building something like this for my OZ. I was going to remove all of the factory plastic splash guards and use them as a bit of a template. If yours turns out well I would be interested in paying for another. Good luck

hopefully ill have enough money within the next 2 weeks to get it made up, a company down here, Rods C.A.R.S, says they will make it up, ill see if i cant get a digital template or something for you guys

I just got my skid plate from Thompson Racing Fabrication in Michigan.(http://www.thompsonracingfabrication.com/) This was a custom piece and I do not know if they have any plans of mass producing, but if anyone is interested give them a call. This thing is top rate 3/16 aluminium and pretty much a direct bolt on. Two nuts need welded to the k frame, but it is super simple and works great.
