Help me choose wheels

So my friend owns a garage and said he can get me some wheels cheaper than retail. So after showing him what I am looking for he sent me what he could get that are similar. Note that I have a red lancer 06.

I am thinking about 17" or 18" and I also need tires... No idea what size of tires to get either?

I don't know much about wheels + tires, even after reading up on the stickies, just the basic bolt patterns and such. Any help choosing would be much appreciated!

These are 3 more that are not in the attachments:

Do this:

Go to the tirerack.com website. Select your vehicle, then select the product wheels. Within the description for each candidate wheel is a link ">view on vehicle". Up pops a pic of your car with those wheels on it. Now select your car's proper colour. Awesome. Use this tool to check out wheels similar to those you've listed here.

search for posts by roblaza, his wheels are like 8.5 inches deep, but i forget the offset...but is about as far as you'd want to, but diameter wise, there may still be room to play.

Click for a comparison with the stock wheel and tire.

Here I have compared the 04 RalliArt wheels with 09 RalliArt wheels. Enter what ever specs you are looking at, and compare with stock, to get an idea of what tire/ wheel combo's work best.
