I have an annoying squeek coming from my passenger side in the rear. Anyone have any insight on what this might be?
I read something somewhere about some kind of bushing that goes bad, could this be it?
Thanks ahead for the help.

It could be the strut, the swaybay end links, the control arm to name a few. You will have to get under there and see for yourself, there's no way to know what is for sure. Post up some pictures of your ralliart

Same thing with my car. If it "SQUEAKS!" when you go over little bumps, big bumps, when you slow down, and when you go from a stop, it is probably your struts going bad or is bad. Is your car bouncing or sagging more then usual in the rear?

@lanzer, do you know if broken end links will cause squeaking? I have one broken one, but it's been broken for a while now. (winter) I do have replacements but I cant get the damn bolts off. lol. But I know for sure that I have blown struts too so... yeah.

Mine squeeks on both sides. Its the upper link in my case. They're about 7 inches long with a bushing in each end, and they're used to adjust allignment in the rear. Yours may be on the way out aswell.

It could, where the rubber meets the swaybar it's known to be sqeeky. Some silicone lubricant can fix it. If something is broken I would fix that first and go from there.

with lanzer on this one, replace links if broken, or if they're not broken, and you can remove them without breaking them, grease the bushings and reassemble...i even grease the inside of my upper strut mounts...

I replaced the end links and it still squeaks. I'm thinking it must be my struts. My rear sags pretty low. Lower then normal. I'm just waiting on Flip to PM me back about his stock struts. Do you guys know how to contact him besides using EvoM?

I'd like to get some coilovers but I'm saving up to get a R6. I have money for it since I tried saving for the turbo kit but the whole plan fell threw. Although some coilovers sound nice right now.

* Silicone grease the rear sway bar bushings *

Squeaks are simply vibration which happens when two dry parts rub against each other. The frequency of the vibration is in the range of our hearing - isn't that handy?

theres so many things in the rear that can cause squeaking...its hard to just say "this" is whats wrong...i got tired of my squeaking and basically replaced all the rear suspension parts...also it makes the rear end sag when things wear out and make it hard/not possible to align the rear end...

most likely its worn bushings...like apparently most(if not all) ra's get...and ull need quite a bit of work, and an alignment...(maybe some tires depending how worn out they are/get)
