215 or 225/45/17 tires lowered on springs

Ill be needing to replace my tires as ill be going for a long road trip soon, and i was wondering if anyone here has tein s.techs (or any lowering springs) with 215 - 225/45/17s as their tire specs? My wheels are 17x7 +42 i believe and currently my tires are 215/45/17. Any issues? Are the 225 tires too wide for our cars?

Yes 225 is too wide. There is a thread in this forum which provides extensive information on this.
Are you certain that you now have 215/45/17 with the Tein S Techs ?
Any issues at full lock, or when you have passengers in the back seat ?

Please share your observations and experiences with these springs and your tyre size on the

Ah alright. I thought it wouldve been too wide...thanks. and yea some rubbing bout 80-85% wheel lock when turning, and ive never really drove with any passengers on the back seats lately, i barely drive my car and ive had my tires for like 3-4 yrs lol. I figured id get new tires cuz their old and cracking. I guess ill go 215/40.
