Custom Skirt Extensions

I have the rrm splitter and i have been looking for something to accent the side skirts in the same way the splitter does to the front. So i decided to make skirt extensions to match the splitter.I will document the progress with some pictures , hopefully the end result will turn out good

So far i have my extensions laid out and resin on the mat , waiting for it to harden up then on to the bondo stage

for anyone else interested in doing a project like this the material cost is around 100 $ the skirt measures 75 inch long and im making them 5 n a half inch depth ( yes i am using a 2x6 for my shape) , the end will curve down around one inch just like the rrm splitter , and im using woven fiberglass instead of the strands fiberglass ( easier to work with )

looks pretty good Infamous.. I'd probably pull the sides out a bit, it seems like the front has a bit more showing.. At first I thought you were totally wrapping the 2x6.. that would of been funny.. 2x6 splitters lol..

ill try to take some better pics, i thought about pulling em out a bit more but then you get that running board look like on trucks , so i decided to make em flush at the back and the front then you see it stick out where the skirt dips in , plus the rrm splitter is flush at the sides so i was trying to match it , next up is someething for the rear

i was trying to wait for someone to make em but no one was so i decided to make em myself, it took me 9 hours start to finish to do em and cost me 100$ , if you have the right tools its not that hard to do
