lancer sportback and lancer ralliart sportback
I was browsing autoblog.com and this came up today.

I for one, really like hatchbacks for the increased utility. Although this design doesn't seem to fully utilize the hatch, it should increase cargo space anyways. Something that is going to be a major deal for me personally.
And sorry if this is old news but I have been on these forums daily so I wouldn't think so.
Cheers!

Think the unveiling news is new, but if you prefer your news direct, just take a look at Mitsubishi's press release:

Good news, and I think the first time they confirmed production the RA Sportback rather than just the non-RA models. 2010 will be a year to look forward to. I'll be disappointed if the US doesn't get any. Mitsu should consider that there is probably a ready pool of MS3 owners who would go for the RA Sportback.
I like the black. Kind of Saab-esque

A true wagon has a lot less general appeal than even a hatch. There's always the Legacy GT..

yah, a legacy gt or the older Foresters were what i was looking at for some time but even a used one is still pretty steep in price for me. I'm too much a mitsu fan i know i'm dreaming but it would really be bad *** if they came out with an 09/10 ralliart full size wagon. Hell, mitsu japan released Lancers/Cedias in AWD wagons =[ Legnum GVR4 wagons too =[ :::sigh:::

Are you thinking that the Lancer Sportback Ralliart might be FWD when it comes over here? The Lancer Sportback will definitely be just like a GTS with a fifth door.
