i flagged a guy down on the road who just bought one in the bright orange color, he said he loved it but the shift shock gets some getting used to, he likes it, but seeing it up close if it didnt have the RA badge in the front grill, would have just ignored it as a gts

That is the problem. Small performance gain, if any over a GTS especially considering AWD. Same wheels. Modest front and rear fascia changes. Dual exhaust and a high tech tranny. Head to head I think the GTS outperforms the RA in almost all categories.
