Speaking of stock wheels. I was at the local Mitsu dealer today and they had an orange Ralliart and it had the dark grey wheels seen in early Ralliart previews. They look much better than the silver ones especially real life. Are they optional or just randomly available?

Hmmm could have been a dealer doing. I don't think dark wheels are an option.

Ask them about those wheels.

Nope they were the real thing as the car still had the white plastic and was fresh off the truck.

The Australian mitsu had an RA version that had really awesome wheels, I think 6 or 7 spoke, though I can't find it on the .au web page anymore. was there before they had the sport back version on the website, anyone see or notice that?

Our Aus spec RA has the same wheels as the VRX(GTS). You're thinking of the New Zealand spec who have the 5 spoke wheel for their RA.

What exactly do the stock wheels weigh, anyway?

Heres your info from the first page of this post on the wheels, and they work awesome, no rub issues and I now have RallyArmor mud flaps installed, looks wicked

I just weighed on my bathroom precise digital scale the stock wheel AND tire at 47lbs. provided these are not run flats and they are 40 series tires on 18s (not alot of rubber) I'm thinking the stock wheel is frick'n heavy! according to the Tire Rack the tire it self weighs about 24 lbs. so I guess the rim isn't too too bad at 23 lbs for a stocker.

Nope Edmunds is wrong. GTS gets single piston calipers.

Did you have to modify the RallyArmor mud flaps to fit? Which ones did you choose? I'm wondering how they would look in white on a WW RalliArt?
