I ended up paying just under 40k for it, however, they paid off my GTS.... I bet had I not had to have involved the GTS, I could have got it for 35k.

What a few guys said on here is the correct way to use a manual. You don't want to downshift without blipping the throttle, or at least use the speed difference in the drivetrain to slow the car down. It's not just for the sake of the clutch, but for transmission/driveshaft/differential/halfshaft components.
