installed UR exhaust

i just installed my ultimate racing exhaust and test pipe yesterday wow it it loud. i personally love it like that the only thing is that the heat shield under the trunk rattles does any one else have the same problem. I'm thinking of removing it.

You could try buying stiffer exhaust hangers.

aha.. so thats what makes that rattle noise when my exhaust revs up to higger rpm's, thanks for the info I thought it was something in the car rattling, a much easier fix now

They'll gladly take your money to do work, they'd be crazy not to. Anyways, what I'm saying is depending on who installs the exhaust, the specific exhaust and the specific car, you can get minor fitment issues. There are always going to be variations from exhaust system to exhaust system due to the way they're made.

ok 2 questions..anyone works in the mitsubishi dealer as a mechanic in this forum? do those bolt ons void the warrenty?

If it changes the way the car operates then the simple answer is yes. Your theoretically allowing the car to make more power and Mitsubishi only agreed to warranty a stock car as they designed it to be. It does depend on the dealership though, some are pretty accommodating while others get pissy if you use a non-approved air freshener.

well the UR catback was there and it was the last one...and it was 1100
im just like =/ damn went home and calculated everything and it would of been the same except just a lil more if i bought it from UR website
