i'm going to be ordering the Road Race splitter if all works out. i e-mailed them asking if installation was as easy as the regular lancer version (e.g. pre-drilled and all lined up). i haven't gotten an answer and asked because, unfortunately, i'm going to be doing the work myself. anyone know if it comes pre-drilled and if it's a relatively easy one man job? in addition, does anyone know if the stabilizer arms attach to the lower grill like in the regular lancer version?
thanks

a message from rob at roadracemotorsports.com that rob has emailed me tonight
"Tell guys we have a CF splitter just for the RA NOW. See it on site soon. Spread the word, they can call in to get the first ones. Same price as the splitter for the GTS too."

Is this in reference to the one that has been on their site for a while or a new style based on the Ralliart version?

Sorry about resurrecting an old thread... but the RA Sportback's "diffuser" is ugly as sin in stock form. Since the black plastic part unbolts from the actual bumper, a nice diffuser that could bolt up in place of the rear exhaust fascia would be really nice. I suspect the RA sedans rear "diffuser" section can be removed in the same manner. A "functional" rear diffuser with some deep fins back there would be the cat's meow...

^+1 i would agree with that - would be nice to have the rear diffuser incorporate on the sides as well - it kinds look naked without it. ie there are side skirts, the front air dam but then nothing on the rear sides...

kinda... that has nice deep fins, but if you ~look~ at it, you can see that it's basically a bumper cut-out with fins. It's not a functional diffuser.
If I had to choose between that and the RA SB exhaust facia (which i currently have), i'll stick with what i have.

damn... that sucks...
in that case given i have yet to see another Sportback on the streets between Glendale, CA and Culver City, CA... the chances of one being made for the Sportback will probably be slim... uncommon cars don't get the love that dime a dozen cars do...
I'll probably make my own, eventually, when funds are available...
