how much did those cost you? Rocker panel protector would be nice....but the BB bullet size chip was on the body just above the rocker panel though....

They threw it in for free. I think it was around $800 for everything though.

Is the paint protection like a clear coat or a warranty thing? I wouldn't think that Misu would warranty their paint jobs. lol

I've been thinking about taking the car into a body shop to have a clear coat/protectant put on, I may check with the dealership to see if they can do it instead.

It's a train dust on your car. I had the same issue with my car. Try some medium grade cly bar. It works great for me. I also put few coats of wax on my car and now those rusty dots are easier to remove.

i have those gluey black scratches on my ralliart too, at firsti thought they where just some tar or something kicked up but thats not likely since there arnt any new roads around. i have no clue where they are coming from, but your not the only one with this problem.

It's a clear coat.

I also have a guy with a private garage who's going to mix up a custom wax for me. Should last all year, and i'm hoping this helps with things like this.

+1, I get these randomly on my car throughout the year. I just noticed some goo on my wing today, .

For me, I think its road debris being shot up, the roads around here are getting dry-patched like crazy so I think its some of the residue from the asphalt mixture that's being put down.

Make sure to get a pro grade clay bar, it will remove more debris with less effort, make sure to use a good lubricant too (I use Meguire's Mist and Wipe). If you need a good clay bar order one online from a paint or detail shop, not only will you get a better quality bar but they are larger and will last longer than the one's you can get at Autozone/Advance Auto.

I had the black lines too. the black lines are the glue residue from the protective white film that was on the car during transport. It collects dirt over time and becomes more obvious. This comes off easily with a very fine compounding material such as Presta Chroma cleaner/glaze 1500.

the paint chips too easily on the these cars. The primer is also a very light color which makes even small chips obvious on my rotor glow RA. I already have a small chip on the intake where I an see pure white.
