Possible 2010 Evo updates and what it means for the 2010 RA
I found the following link buried in an EvoX thread and figured some of the RA crowd probably missed it and might be interested.
http://www.evoxforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13138
Basically, this guy is claiming these are the 2010 EvoX updates. I have no way of knowing if his info is correct but it seems reasonable and the pics help make it seem more probable to me.
So, assuming this info is correct, what does everyone think this means for the RA?
From a product planning standpoint, the current lineup looks something like this (IMO):
Equipped Ralliart - Medium price, medium speed, high tech/convenience
Evo GSR - Medium price, high speed, medium tech/convenience
Evo MR - High price, high speed, high tech/convenience
Since the MR is (allegedly) getting more tech/convenience via the touring package, I wonder if we can expect something similar for the Ralliart to maintain its place in the product lineup. If so, I’m thinking we’ll probably not get the leather Recaros but I think we’ve got a decent shot at the sunroof, auto lights/wipers and heated seats/mirrors. Oh and the new LCD looks awesome but hopefully it’s not too bright at night. (assuming it's real and we actually get it)

I've been wondering about that too. Maybe Mitsu is keeping their cards close to their chest longer since they keep showing their hand early and getting outdone by Subaru.
Back when the WRX was the only kid on the block, Mitsu decided to "raise the bar" and bring over the Evo. Then, right after the official announcement/unveiling, Subaru knocks the wind out of Mitsubishi's sails and shocks everyone with a 300hp 2.5L STI for the US Market. Then, a few years later, Mitsu brings out the WRX-beating 2009 Ralliart and a few months later Subaru ups the performance/value on the 2009 WRX.
I do know that the Sportback will be released in summer of 2009 (so August at the latest) and I'd imagine it will be a 2010 model so I'm thinking the rest of the 2010 lancer lineup will be released around the same time.

Looks like I will be getting one and keeping the DD RA!!!! Definitely going after the MR. And also hopefully a new toy for me to play with which is my other love, the Cobra Mustang (Terminator ones, 2003-2004).
