whats the easiest way to debadge

on a hot day, leave the car parked out in the sun. then you wont need to heat it much. wedge the fishing line or floss behind it and go back and forth as you slightly tug on the badge. i did it this way and there wasnt much left to clean off...it all came off easily

I de-badged my evo in 5 minutes. Just used some adhesive/wax remover and a plastic putty knife that had a little bit of bend to it butt still was pretty stiff. The heat will really help so just do it on a hot summer day. Or if that's not the case just use a hair dryer. Just sprayed it and get the knife started. I carefully pushed it under the badge as i kept spraying it with the remover. This way goes a lot faster than the fishing line and doesn't jack up your hands so i would suggest it instead.

I highly recommend using goo gone to clean off the adhesive.
I used goo gone and dental floss worked like a charm. i also had a heat gun to help out, but like they said hair dryer will work just as well.

Fishing line is the way to go, I had no experience about debadging and it was really easy using a fish line, I didn't even use a heat gun or let the car sit in the sun. I used a 4 lb fish line.

i just got done debadging my car . hair dryer & fishing line worked like a charm.
ran the hairdryer for aprox. 30 seconds back and forth on high
then ~ 10 seconds per letter (mitsu & lancer wording)
took my fishing line; wrapped it around both pointer fingers (left hand & right hand)
put it behind the initial letter (starting point) flossed like a sawing motion up and down while pulling to my finishing point.
tip: if any part got too hard i stopped, and heated it up with the hair dryer again
left a little black residue, which if it didn't peel right off, i ran the hair dryer over it, and it came right off. my finished result: no faded paint, no residue, & looks clean
