your TPMS light is on.... do u have custom wheels?

Just wondering cuz recently ordered my custom wheels and this guy I know at Service told me I'ma have the damn light on all times if I don't swap the sensors from the OE wheels to the new ones; I think that's BS, I ordered sensors for the new wheels/tires just in case;

sorry to go off topic...

jazket, let me know how you make out with the TPMS. I was going to order wheels and tires from tirerack.com and order the TPMS sensors but it said you would have to program the new TPMS sensors. I was wondering how much of a pain in the a$$ that was going to be.

i was getting 335 miles per tank constantly at 75-78mph all highway driving. right at 335 miles was when it would goto "empty" and the gas light would start blinking fast...

2200 mile road trip in the RA was nice!

Thanks! Yeah, I'm the one who started the thread on TPMS. I think I have my questions answered now. Not that I like the answer but what the hell.

Are you tuned/do you have any mods? I ask because I know that some of the reflashes are supposed to give the RAs +2-3 mpg. The best I've gotten with mostly freeway and some city driving is about 280 per tank, and I wasn't flogging it.

I just have a custom AMS tune, not the mail-in flash. I have no mods.

The drive from my place in Indiana up to AMS in Chicago I got 23 mpg (75 mph most of the way) and on the return trip I got 25 mpg. This is with around 1200 miles on the ODO and about half a week of ownership

The tank is about 55 L, so that works out to 550 km (340 mi.) at 130 km/h (80 mph), 610 km (380 mi.) at 120 km/h (75 mph). At Mitsubishi's rated spec of 7.9 L/100km, you'd get 690 km (430 mi.)
I drive 90% highway at 110km/h(cruise) and get 8.3-8.5 L/100km on my way to work and home everyday. The most I have got out of a tank was 503 km before the low fuel light came on.

The signature tells it all As soon as GST makes a base map for the 2010 ROM and I have my gauges, I will start tuning it as well as the physical modifications.
