Canadian models have sunroof as part of the premium package, not sure about USA though, I thought I read before you can't in most of US? (Maybe all US?).

Never really understood the fascination with sunroofs. All my cars always have them (I always go fully loaded) but I have used the sunroof maybe 5 times in the last 5 years.

for $800 i would assume its power.. or he got ripped off :P..
But if the sunroof is your main concern then go with the VW.

Is there not a X trim with a sunroof? Just because it adds weight doesn't mean it isn't worth it to some people.

Well there is no sunroof package on the RAs in the US, just in Canada so he'd need to get it done outside of the factory.

Ah, his profile shows that he drives a VW, I didn't realize he already had the X and thought he could get some other trim. The OP didn't list what he was going with and I didn't realize I was in the RA forum till now.

don't do it...the extra weight heightens the center of gravity and will make cornering more difficult

Maybe for the EVO X (which has the aluminum top) but I wouldn't say the weight difference with/without on the ralliart would be even noticeable (we don't have the aluminum top)
